Hi there- I'm Laurie. I've been working in mental health for over 20 years and have a deep passion for helping people create results in their lives. I help individuals learn to prioritize their time and take action- overcoming anxiety, overwhelm and other debilitating symptoms that hold them back. I specialize in anxiety- however there are lots of factors that contributes to anxiety including past trauma/ depressive symptoms and just overwhelm and burnout in general. Regardless of what you're facing - taking the first step to reach out is the first step to prioritizing YOU! My work is based in Solution Focused strategies that help people feel better quickly along with CBT/ ACT/ and Somatic influences. I take your time very seriously and know if you're taking time out of your day to work on your mental health- you want to be getting results as quickly as possible. Most of my clients feel symptom relief within the first 2 sessions. My goal is to first understand the basics of what brings you to therapy while also setting the stage for creating the outcomes and results you desire. We'll do this together as we get to know one another making it "fun" along the way. I have a lighthearted, but solution focused approach that allows working on YOU each week something you look forward to!
