Introduction

Hi, I'm Leah! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Connecticut and a Certified Life Coach, I have spent over a decade walking alongside individuals and families through all stages of life. While I support clients across a broad range of mental health needs, I hold a special heart for working with teens and young adults, as well as guiding people through anxiety, relationship dynamics, major life transitions, parenting challenges, grief, trauma, and faith-based counseling. Every person's story is unique, which is why my approach to therapy is tailored specifically to you. To help make sense of life's complexities, I look through a psychodynamic lens—exploring how your past experiences gently shape your present—while weaving in practical, modern tools from various other treatment modalities. Together, this means we will look at the deeper picture while building real, everyday skills to create meaningful, lasting change. Taking that first step into therapy requires immense courage, and my goal is to meet you exactly where you are with an organic, conversational, and down-to-earth approach. While I always look to build a safe, trusted partnership, true growth happens when we venture outside our comfort zones. Because you are here to see a real shift in your life, I will thoughtfully challenge you to break through old patterns and step into your potential. You deserve to live out the fullest, healthiest version of yourself. I can’t wait to help you get started!
