I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Pre-Licensed Art Therapist with training in both traditional counseling and expressive, art-based psychotherapy. I earned my Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I believe each person is created with inherent worth and purpose, and that our life experiences—both painful and meaningful—shape how we understand ourselves and engage with the world. There are seasons when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or difficult to put into words. My role is to walk alongside clients as they seek clarity, healing, and renewed strength. I strive to I offer art based psychotherapy which can be helpful to anyone. My counseling style involves art making and talk therapy to help one visualize, reflect and understand what they are challenged with. Along with many other approaches, I utilize person-centered, mindfulness, narrative, CBT and creative therapy. I enjoy supporting emerging adults, adults and older adults. I value authenticity and respect within the therapeutic relationship. It is my goal to incubate a safe, trusted space where people can process, heal and grow. I encourage you to take the next step to wellness. No art skills are required. I am looking forward to working with you.
