My ideal clients are children, adolescents, and adults who feel emotionally overloaded, stuck, or unsure why life feels harder than it “should.” Adults may live in a near-constant state of stress, self-doubt, or disconnection. Parents may feel responsible for everyone’s emotions while quietly ignoring their own. Children and teens may struggle to regulate feelings they don’t yet have words for. Across ages, clients are often insightful, capable, and exhausted, seeking understanding rather than quick fixes. My work is rooted in attachment theory, nervous system regulation, and the belief that behavior makes sense in context. I help clients slow down, notice patterns, and better understand their internal world. With children, teens, adults, and families, therapy focuses on clarity, regulation, and building a more compassionate relationship with self and others. If you’ve spent a long time functioning, holding things together, or minimizing your own needs, therapy can feel both relieving and uncomfortable. You don’t need a polished explanation of what’s wrong, just a willingness to be curious. My goal is to offer a steady, thoughtful space where insight can develop and change can happen gradually and honestly. I am currently supervised by Elizabeth Davis, MA, LPC-S at Embrace New Life, and Meredith Magruder, MS, LPC-S, CFRC at F1RST (First Responder Stress & Trauma LLC). Under their supervision, I continue to deepen my clinical skills while providing thoughtful, developmentally attuned care.
