The foundation to my unique therapeutic approach is person centered, relational, and emotionally focused. I take time to understand your strengths and empower you to build on them. I pull techniques from top down approaches like ACT, CBT, and exposure therapy and combine them with bottom up approaches like somatic and parts work. For those seeking more direction I will include solution focused strategies, offer honest feedback, and share practical tools or resources. While I have experience working with a variety of ages, genders, and identities, if you are here and identify with neurodivergence or exploring this possibility, complex trauma, chronic illness, or struggling with parenting stress and burnout -- I want to hear from you! On a personal note: I'm a neurocomplex mom to 1 medical needs child, 2 senior dogs, 3 cats, some fish, a ton of plants, gardens, and my sourdough starter. In addition to my private practice, I have worked in community mental health and in the school system as a School Social Worker. Special interests include: gardening, art, everything nature, reading, social justice, and the intersection of physical and mental health. I fall in and out of hobbies and practices like yoga, meditation, and Qigong to name a few. Consistency is hard so all of these things truly ebb and flow in my life. I consider myself a holistic person, but I appreciate and utilize both Eastern and Western medicine.
