As an Adlerian counselor, I help clients identify and understand mistaken beliefs by exploring their lifestyle, family constellation, and early recollections in relation to their current circumstances. Together, we will establish mutually agreed-upon goals, and I will empower and equip you to help create positive change. I look forward to working with clients who are ready to engage in the process; however, that does not mean they have to know exactly how or where to start. I see my job as working myself out of a job by providing feedback and tools for clients to take forth into their lives. The time this takes may vary depending on each client’s goals. I help clients experiencing difficulties in areas including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, alcohol or drug use, changes in life circumstances, and those wanting to explore personal growth. Entering counseling may feel scary, but it doesn't have to be. We will work at a pace that is comfortable for you and discuss topics when you feel ready. It is not my job to tell you what to do, but rather to help you gain the insight needed to make decisions that fit your life circumstances.
