Lenardo Cumberbatch is the owner and psychotherapist of Lo-Fi Minds Counseling. I specialize in treating adolescents, young adults and adults ages 13 years and up with PTSD/trauma, anxiety, depression and social and familial concerns. When working with my clients, I primarily utilize evidenced based interventions which included but is not limited to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Multisystemic Therapy, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, Solution-Focused therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. While utilizing these practices I have also incorporated a variety of other tools and skills from other practices developing an overall eclectic style of practice. As Lo-Fi Minds is the name of my practice it came to me as a reflection of who we all are as imperfect people. Lo-Fi music is engrained in the concepts of imperfect audio, such as tape hiss, vinyl crackle, and environmental noise, which were once considered flaws but are now intentional artistic choices. It is known for its relaxed, calming aesthetic. Lo-Fi Music is a representation of people and a tone that I embody and promote to support everyone show up as they are with no judgement, and a safe space for introspection, insight and perspective.
