I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. My career began working with at-risk youth in residential settings, where I spent 15 years supporting young people through complex behavioral and emotional challenges. I later transitioned into child protective services, where I have worked for the past 10 years supporting children and families navigating difficult life circumstances. Since 2021, I have been providing outpatient mental health therapy, specializing in work with children, adolescents, and families. I have extensive experience helping youth manage trauma, anxiety, behavioral challenges, ADHD, grief, and family conflict. I also have five years of experience working with couples to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and improve connection. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and practical. I focus on helping clients build emotional awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe space where children, teens, and families feel heard, supported, and empowered. For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian-based counseling that thoughtfully integrates faith into the therapeutic process while maintaining clinical best practices. My goal is to help each client find clarity, resilience, and a clear path forward.
