I am Lesley Fernandez, Licensed Master Social Worker, founder of Encase Therapy, a proud mom of two, the second youngest of four siblings, and a woman grounded in my Christian faith. As a first-generation Latina and a mother, I understand how cultural expectations, family dynamics, and the demands of daily life can impact emotional well-being. My faith and spirituality guide my values of compassion, grace, and purpose, which I bring into the therapeutic space while honoring each client’s individual beliefs and experiences. I created Encase Therapy to be a space where you can feel supported, understood, and safe to explore your thoughts without judgment. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I also support individuals and families facing challenges related to family conflict and resolution, including parent–child dynamics, as well as maternal mental health concerns such as postpartum depression. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive—focused on helping you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and feel more in control of your life. When meaningful to you, I am open to integrating faith and spirituality into the healing process. At Encase Therapy, the goal is simple: to help you feel heard, empowered, and confident in your growth—mind, body, and spirit, because your mental health and wellness matter!
