Introduction

Hi! I’m a registered psychological associate, working under the clinical supervision of Dr. Kristen McDonald, PhD. I specialize in treating OCD and anxiety-based disorders, depression, and complex trauma. If you want to learn strategies for healing from the mental, emotional, and lifestyle issues that hold you back, then I can help. If you understand that therapy is a slow, incremental process of growth and not a magical overnight transformation, I am here to support you on your path of exploration. I am committed to helping you achieve the transformative life changes you are seeking. I will create a safe, compassionate space for you to do this crucial recovery work. Let’s talk! NOTE ABOUT INSURANCE & PAYMENT POLICY: I am not currently in network with insurance companies, but I am using a payment structure that I believe allows for more confidentiality and flexibility in treatment planning. It is an anti-oppressive rate structure that works to make mental health services fair, equitable and available to more people. You can self-select your rate based on your ability to pay, without having to prove financial need: * 1st Level Standard Rate ($150-$175): This is paying the full fee session cost, and it applies to those who are financially stable. Your payment helps others who are less privileged gain access to therapy services. * 2nd Level Community Service Rate ($100): This is for those facing barriers such as a high level of personal debt or low salary earnings. * 3rd Level Subsidized Rate ($60-80): Limited availability for those facing serious, complex, ongoing financial and/or societal challenges. Choosing a rate that works for your personal situation is part of the healing process. Paying the standard rate helps allow access for others, and paying below the standard rate is an acknowledgement of very real-life challenges and systemic barriers, not a statement of failure in any way. There is no judgement, and again, you are encouraged to self-select based on YOUR assessment of your financial situation; no proof is required.
