Introduction

Hello! My name is Dr. Lex Uehline (she/her) - You can call me Lex! I support adults navigating complex trauma, identity distress, relational strain, burnout, and family concerns, including estrangement and no contact. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and culturally responsive- helping you process past experiences, challenge harmful messages, and build tools to move toward healing, self-trust, and more authentic connection. Notably, I hold particular interest in and commitment in guiding exploration of how our sociopolitical environment affects our well-being. As a Black Biracial women, I work collaboratively with those belonging to marginalized groups to explore the intersections of identity, cultural context, and mental health; strengthen connectedness with the self and others; and find empowerment across avenues of life to reclaim power in daily living. Growth and healing happen in spaces where you feel safe, seen, and understood. I bring warmth and compassion to build an affirming collaborative therapy space where your experiences, strengths, and identity are uplifted. When you are ready, I welcome you to reach out to see if we may be a good fit for your growth journey!
