Introduction

A dedicated team of queer and trans-identifying psychotherapists serving LGBTQ+ folx, their families, and cishet allies. The LGBT+ Counseling Collaborative currently provides outpatient mental health services to adolescents and adults ages 11 years old and up. We provide in person sessions at our Arlington, VA office, or virtual sessions in Virginia and Washington, DC. We provide individual counseling, group counseling, and couples counseling for anyone who identifies as a LGBTQIA+ or is an ally of the community, including non-faith based premarital counseling, discernment counseling, sex therapy, and more. Services also include sex therapy, non-faith based premarital counseling, trauma informed and competent counseling, gender exploration, religious trauma, complex PTSD, and social support building. Our mission is to provide culturally competent, social justice oriented, queer affirming, and trauma informed therapeutic services to clients who want to actively engage in healing and processing around personal history, generational cycles, and systemic issues with clinicians who have similar lived experiences and values.
