Introduction

Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and have already done meaningful work in therapy but still find themselves feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety, overwhelm, or persistent symptoms that don’t fully make sense. You may notice this showing up as health anxiety, chronic stress, or physical symptoms like pain or tension that persist despite reassurance or medical clarity. Or you may feel like your mind understands what’s happening, but your body hasn’t caught up. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Austin, Texas. My work focuses on the connection between the mind, body, and nervous system - especially why symptoms can persist even when you’re doing “all the right things.” My approach focuses on helping your nervous system feel safe again so the patterns keeping you stuck can begin to shift. I integrate somatic therapy, EMDR, and mind-body approaches like Pain Reprocessing Therapy to work at the level where these patterns actually live -beneath thought, in the body. Together, we’ll gently shift the underlying responses that keep you stuck instead of trying to manage or override them. This work is not about forcing change, but creating the conditions where change happens naturally and is especially helpful for people who feel like they’ve “tried everything” but still don’t feel the way they want to feel. Over time, clients often experience: – less anxiety and reactivity – relief from chronic or stress-based symptoms – a greater sense of calm, clarity, and internal safety If you’re looking for a deeper, more body-based approach to healing, I’d be glad to connect and see if this feels like a good fit.
