Hi there, welcome to my profile! I believe therapy should be warm, non-judgmental, and actually feel useful for you and your healing. My work is rooted in non-pathology, because so much of what gets labeled "anxiety" or "depression" is a response to our environment, not a flaw in who we are. I work with first daughters of immigrant parents, those experiencing chronic illness, and young women new to therapy, who are carrying not just their own pain, but the weight of generations before them. The families we come from, religion, culture, and the larger systems we were raised in all shape us in ways we can't always identify. Together, we'll look at your context and the patterns that keep showing up as well as get curious about the parts of you that had to adapt, go quiet, or grow up too fast. A lot of our work centers on reparenting and empathy for past, present, and future versions of you. Our work can sometimes feel heavy, and you might notice your body respond to the connections we make, so collaboration and comfort will be prioritized. We'll work somatically, using IFS, EMDR exercises, and art, gently learning to listen to what your body has been holding.
