Lili is passionate about helping people individually and collectively look for ways to make meaning and find joy in their day to day lives. To do this work, Lili finds it foundational to help clients understand, name, and process past traumatic experiences, marginalization, and systemic oppression. Lili has a warm and comforting energy and crafts authentic space for clients to process, communicate emotions, and understand themselves and the world in which they inhabit. Lili is creative and curious, grounded and centered, and adept at pacing therapeutic work to promote growth and healing. Lili has over 4 years of experience supporting clients in non-profit and private practice agencies. The collaborative process of therapy is of utmost importance to them, and they cater their interventions to each individual’s unique needs focusing on consent, choice, and education as tools to further the therapeutic progress of each client. They primarily use IFS (Internal Family Systems), EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Somatic therapies, Narrative Therapy, and I-CBT (Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), while always working through a trauma-informed lens. Lili primarily sees LGBTQ+ adults and people with anxiety, depression, OCD, sexual trauma, complex trauma/C-PTSD, and those impacted by systemic oppression. They are passionate about working with BIPOC, neurodivergent, and trans adults. Lili is licensed in Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio allowing them to be able to see clients who live in or travel to those states. Lili believes that Black lives matter, trans lives are to be honored, fat bodies are valued, all bodies are valued regardless of ability, and community is how we work towards liberation for all. As a Queer Black Neurodivergent person Lili's priority is engagement in work that supports the humanity of others, creates safe spaces, and serves community members. Their personal and professional interest is in the collective liberation of all.
