I am a therapist because I believe in therapy - I know that getting the right treatment, turning toward your pain and attending to it can make all the difference in the world. I know that, through therapy, people can truly heal. I use insight-oriented therapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, CBT and DBT. Since receiving my master's degree in 2009, I have worked with: - teenagers in a high school in Boston - adults struggling with addiction referred from the legal system in South Boston - adults struggling with mood disorders in a university setting (Boston University) - patients in a self-pay residential program at McLean Hospital - psychiatric patients coming to the ER (in 4 different hospitals in MA) - adult patients in an intensive outpatient program at the Institute of Living (CT).
