I am currently a licensed clinical social worker, (LCSW). I like to think of therapy as facilitating a process with goals that promote growth. It works best when you can be your genuine self and have a supportive relationship that feels real, collaborative and grounded in trust. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, trauma-informed and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client with compassion and respect. Together we navigate life’s challenges and work towards meaningful goals through a collaborative strengths-based lens. I draw from a wide evidence-based practices, including art, play and recreational therapy, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, hypnosis, Safe and Sound Protocol, EMDR and other interventions. Over the past six year, my social work expertise has focused within clinician experiences, with individual, family and providing intensive outpatient services to youths. I bring over a decade of additional experience within the Child Welfare system, including foster care, adoption and intact family services. I work with clients across a wide range of experiences, always honoring their individuality, creativity, strengths and potential. I am a proud LGBTQ+ ally and committed to providing an inclusive, affirming and empowering space for all. The core of our sessions is to provide a safe and confidential space with open rapport, while offering support and challenging perspectives to help make progress towards your goals. Sessions include tools and activities you can use both in and outside of therapy, aimed to support your growth in a holistic way. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed or simply ready for a change, you don’t have to go through it alone, with me by your side.
