I support teens and adults who are navigating life transitions, healing from trauma, and struggling with anxiety and depression. As a Korean-American child of immigrants, I am passionate about working with BIPOC and immigrant individuals who are navigating the liminal spaces between cultures and identities. I also have particular experience survivors of complex trauma, including hate crimes, interpersonal violence, and sexual assault. As your therapist, I’ll accompany you as we develop a new way to understand your story and face the hard questions that might come up for you when you consider all that has shaped you. My approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, integrating narrative therapy, mindfulness/somatic work, and attachment theory. I’ll extend compassion and nonjudgmental curiosity to the different identities that make up who you are, freeing you to explore them safely.
