I have specialized in mental health, trauma/PTSD, person centered, mood disorders, spirituality, dissociative disorders etc. I am trained in EMDR, Flash Technique, CBT, DBT, Eclectic, Brief Solution Focused, Strength-based therapies. No in-person sessions at this time. Telehealth via computer are provided. My Bachelors of Arts was awarded from UMBC in Psychology and Social Work. My Masters from University of Maryland in Social Work was completed in 2000. I have been working in the mental health field since 1982 and am the co-founder of Survivors of Incest Anonymous. I received the Governor's Award for Victim Services. I have served on the Governor's Council on Child Abuse and Neglect, Harford County Children's Review Board ( we critiqued child protective services case worker's files), Domestic Violence Prevention Committee, board member of the Maryland Attorney General Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect, National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse, Domestic Violence Prevention Committee at SARC (Spousal Assault Recovery Center), and I have testified in the Maryland Legislator before the Md. State Legislators on behalf of children. I have presented at numerous conferences including the Governor's Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect. I have also worked in several addiction settings and spent 14 year at the Harford County Detention Center. Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes is the name of my private practice.
