Introduction

Seeking support can feel vulnerable, but it is a brave first step towards understanding, healing, and growth. My approach to therapy is one of compassion and non-judgment with the goal of helping my clients learn to approach themselves in similar ways. I believe that the therapeutic space is sacred and I feel honored to be a witness to every person’s unique journey. I will never take for granted the trust that is placed in me when a person chooses to let me into the most vulnerable parts of themselves. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and have been licensed in New Mexico since 2011. Throughout my career I have provided individual, group, couples, and family therapy around a variety of struggles, including relational conflict, anxiety, depression, gender identity, sexual orientation, substance use, grief/loss, stress, and life transitions. I completed in-depth training and supervision in Functional Family Therapy, consisting of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing/Motivational Enhancement Therapies, and Mindfulness-based approaches. I see clients individually from teens through adulthood and particularly enjoy working with couples, families, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I have always been interested in personal growth and development and for that reason I believe that much of what I can offer others comes from maintaining a constant curiosity about myself. While I come to this work as a professional, I also have a keen awareness of my own struggles and strengths. I am someone who has faced and overcome challenges as well. I utilize my knowledge and skills to support others in doing the same.
