My journey into the mental health field began long before I ever sat across from a client. Some of the most meaningful career paths are born from personal experiences, and mine was no different. Watching family members navigate mental health challenges while struggling to find care that felt accessible, validating, and effective opened my eyes to both the importance of mental health services and the gaps that still exist within them. I understand how difficult it can be to begin therapy, and I will be with you every step of the way. With experience across inpatient psychiatric facilities, residential treatment centers, and private practice, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and a wide range of presenting concerns. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported in your journey. I specialize in working with individuals navigating self-esteem challenges, anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma, abuse survivors, depression, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. As a trauma-informed therapist, I integrate approaches rooted in polyvagal theory, EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, while also drawing from CBT and DBT to support practical skill-building and emotional regulation. I don’t believe in reducing people to diagnoses or pathologizing their experiences. Instead, I view symptoms as adaptive responses to life circumstances—not personal failures. Therapy moves at your pace and is guided by what feels safe and manageable for you. At the same time, I believe meaningful growth often happens just outside of our comfort zones, and I’m here to support you as you gently expand them. Healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy—we can make space for growth, curiosity, and maybe even a little laughter along the way.
