Navigating the mental health system can be challenging. I believe therapy should be a space where real change can occur, and that my clients feel safe and heard. Your intentions for therapy are very important to me, and I tailor my approach to your needs and challenges. My work is person-centered, attachment-based, and trauma-focused, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for growth and change. Cultural identity and personal lived experiences are important aspects of my client's life that I respect and integrate into therapy. I teach psychology at University of Redlands and I have specialized training in neuropsychology. My experience as a therapist and teacher has given me a unique toolbox to help you meet your goals. I have specialized experience with couples, trauma, CPSD, BPD, neurodivergence (ADHD) attachment issues, first generation immigrant families, LGBTQIA+ communities. Therapy modalities I draw from in my practice are EFT, AEDP, IFS, DBT, ACT, CBT, Relational-Cultural Therapy, Mindfulness interventions, trauma and attachment interventions, and process-oriented therapies. Building the therapeutic relationship and establishing a safe place for emotional vulnerability are important to my approach. Contact me for a free 15 minute consultation.
