Welcome! I'm Lindsey! I have been drawn to this work long before I became a therapist. As a teenager, I felt a deep desire to connect with and support those around me who were struggling emotionally. I remember walking with a close friend along a nature trail and helping her navigate the challenges she was facing at the time. That experience revealed my calling and passion: to walk alongside others as they face their most challenging experiences and emotions, offering a safe space to process them in therapy. I have been providing therapy for over five years now, specializing in working with adults experiencing complex trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, and relational wounds. I take a holistic approach to healing, drawing on my training as an art therapist, yoga instructor, and experience guiding sound baths. My work centers on the mind-body-soul connection, helping clients sense how trauma resides in the body and gently learn ways to process and release these emotions. My approach is warm, empathetic, trauma-informed, and grounded in nervous-system regulation. I integrate interventions including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based strategies, and principles from Polyvagal Theory to help clients understand how their nervous system responds to stress and develop self-regulation skills. I also incorporate Attachment-Focused Trauma Therapy for Adults (AFTT-A), focusing on building safety and resourcing tools before engaging in deeper trauma processing. I would be honored to be a part of your healing journey, and I'm proud of you for taking the time and energy to prioritize this next step in your well-being.
