Introduction

Hi, I'm Lindsey Schmid, a Licensed Professional Counselor affiliated with Better You Counseling LLC in Southlake, Texas. I work with adults and older teens who have been carrying anxiety, self-doubt, or trauma on their own for too long. If you've been holding everything together for everyone else while quietly running on empty, you're in the right place. Using EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help you heal from the inside out — gently, collaboratively, and at your pace. We won't rush past anything you aren't ready for. My hope is that you leave therapy not just managing symptoms, but genuinely more at home in yourself. I'm currently accepting new clients.
