Lindy Kadish is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in trauma therapy, with a particular focus on women’s mental health across the lifespan. With more than a decade of clinical experience, she holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Canisius College and is an EMDR Certified Therapist and EMDR Consultant-in-Training. Lindy works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, attachment and relationship patterns, self-worth, identity, and major life transitions, with particular expertise in concerns affecting women from young adulthood through pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and beyond. She approaches mental health through a biopsychosocial and nervous-system-informed lens, integrating EMDR, IFS-informed therapy, Polyvagal Theory, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and DBT-informed skills to address both the emotional and physiological impact of our experiences. At the heart of Lindy’s work is helping clients feel less defined by what they have experienced and more connected to who they are and how they want to live, with greater self-trust, flexibility, and choice.
