Lisa has 5 years of experience in the art therapy and mental health field, with a start in Family-Based therapy, and ongoing work with art therapy groups and individuals, especially in trauma work. Lisa is a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with training and experience in working with complex trauma backgrounds. Lisa's approach is centered in nurturing the mind-body connection, somatic healing, mindfulness, and the use of art to explore deeper along the healing journey. Lisa looks at the world from a systemic mindset, building awareness of not just the person in isolation, but in the context of the world in which we each exist. Building awareness of patterns that we find ourselves in that no longer serve us, and ways to break out of them and embody a more aligned sense of self is central in the therapy process.
