Introduction

I work with individuals and couples who may be struggling with human experiences like: emotional overwhelm, physical & emotional pain, anxiety & distress, life & relationship transitions, & loss. We may think there is something wrong with us, but really there is a much bigger story in which we exist that can be hard to see and remember, without the reflection of another kind, compassionate human. Whether you are navigating challenges as an individual or as a couple, you may find yourself feeling overstimulated, exhausted, or even numb—caught between constant demands life and a lack of time and space to slow down or process your experiences. Many of us have been taught to push through, suppressing emotions just to keep achieving and functioning. Many of us find that when we do have time or space to feel, focusing on emotions can be overwhelming and we may avoid them or shut down. Therapy with me includes learning how to process emotions by observing sensation in the body, while exploring thoughts, emotions, memories, and the relationships between different parts of ourselves. By better understanding our emotional, relational and somatic patterns, we can often break free from cycles that feel stuck. We can learn effective strategies for regulating and relating, cultivate greater self-compassion and resilience, and move beyond insight alone toward embodied change. People choose to work with me because I offer a trauma-informed, somatic, and relational approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and authentic connection. Clients often describe my style as grounded, compassionate, and direct. I value collaboration and transparency, and I tailor therapy to each client’s goals, nervous system, and relational contexts. This type of therapy is not about fixing what’s “wrong,” but about building capacity, awareness, and choice. If you are seeking therapy that not only addresses symptoms but also supports deep, sustainable change rooted in self-awareness and empowerment, I am here to walk alongside you on that journey. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and grounded in respect for each client’s unique lived experience.
