Introduction

I believe that therapy can help individuals by nurturing, restoring, and empowering them. As someone who has always been interested in the connection between the mind and body, I take a personalized approach with each client. I offer trauma-informed therapy, EMDR protocol, attachment theory, and other approaches to choose the best course of treatment for each client. In my practice, I prioritize creating an environment of care, honesty, and empathy. By working together, you will gain self-knowledge and tools to understand and address your needs and desires, and manage overwhelming emotions. Our work will focus on using an integrative treatment approach that includes psychoeducation, skill building, and EMDR to help you reach your goals. Through our sessions, you will learn to live fully in the present and process past behavioral patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck. With the confidence you'll gain, you'll be able to thrive in your personal and professional life. I completed my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling with a specialization in trauma and substance abuse from Antioch University, NE. Before that, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California Polytechnic University and had successful careers in accounting and entrepreneurship. During my graduate studies and internship at Denver Springs (inpatient psychiatric facility), I received EMDR training. I am a fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with credentialing toward a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) and post-graduate certification/training in trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, and couples' therapies. My goal is to use my education, experience, and credentials to help individuals, couples, families, and groups build greater self-awareness and healthier intimate relationships. ____________________________________________________________________ To schedule an appointment call or email me at 720-231-2344 or lisaeckleslpc@gmail.com.
