Hello and welcome! My name is Lisa. I am a strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed therapist who believes that each individual already carries the capacity for growth and healing within them. My role is to provide a safe, collaborative space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for your lived experience, always recognizing the impact that trauma, relationships, and life circumstances can have on your emotional well-being. I have experience implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies to help clients build practical skills for managing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance. I work with individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression, helping them better understand their thought patterns, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with a sense of hope and direction. I am currently receiving training in Gottman Level 1 methods for couples work and in Internal Family Systems (IFS), expanding my ability to support clients in understanding relational dynamics and the different “parts” of themselves that shape their internal world. My practice places a strong emphasis on family of origin experiences and attachment styles, recognizing how early relationships influence present-day patterns in intimacy, self-worth, and emotional regulation.
