I provide a Different Kind of Therapy. I work primarily with the military Special Forces and First Responder communities. I’ve served as a therapist at Walter Reed Military Medical Center and was also embedded within a specialized military unit. More recently, I provided intensive, trauma‑focused counseling for the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC. Over the years, I have learned the importance of blending neuroscience and psychotherapy. Together, we explore the mind and the body and work to connect the two. We identify specific physiological “triggers,” and develop practical tools and strategies that restore healthier control over old and emerging patterns that allow for those triggers to activate. My philosophy is "Iron Sharpens Iron." Client and therapist working together to create the desired change. I provide a "straight shooting" approach in my therapy style, and my goal is to help clients move toward the change they would like to experience. I believe effective therapy isn’t comfortable; it pushes us to grow and become better and healthier. Let me help you begin this journey.
