I'm Lisa Pokorny, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Flying Point Therapy Collective. For more than 17 years, I've worked alongside individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My path has included clinical care, research, and leadership roles in community based and military environments. Across these experiences, my focus has remained the same: helping people feel supported, understood, and able to move forward. My approach is rooted in an attachment-based lens, helping clients understand how their experiences shape patterns in relationships, emotions, and daily life. I integrate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, along with trauma-informed care. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs—balancing practical skill-building with deeper exploration in a way that feels manageable and effective. I measure success by helping clients feel more regulated, more confident in themselves, and more connected in their relationships and daily lives. My goal is for you to leave sessions with both insight and tools you can actually use. I offer virtual appointments for clients located in Colorado, Maine, and Arizona. I offer in-person sessions in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have evening and weekend availability upon request, and strive to create a space that feels grounded, supportive, and empowering.
