Relationships have an incredible ability to shape our lives. They can bring us our greatest joy, but they can also become the source of our deepest hurt, uncertainty, and loss. Through both my professional work and personal experiences, I have come to believe that healing often begins when we have the opportunity to better understand ourselves, strengthen our relationships, and approach life's most difficult moments with greater clarity and intention. I believe therapy is an investment in yourself and the people who matter most to you. Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship conflict, or feeling uncertain about what comes next, counseling provides an opportunity to pause, gain perspective, and move toward the life you want to create. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs because I believe meaningful therapy should never be one size fits all. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with individuals and couples facing a wide range of concerns. I integrate evidence based approaches with genuine curiosity, warmth, and authenticity, creating an environment where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult experiences while also discovering new possibilities for growth, connection, and change. My passion for relationship work has led me to pursue advanced training in several specialized approaches. I am certified in Discernment Counseling, which helps couples thoughtfully navigate seasons of uncertainty when one partner is considering divorce while the other hopes to preserve the relationship. Rather than rushing toward a decision, Discernment Counseling creates space for greater understanding and confidence about the path forward. I have also completed Level 3 Training in the Gottman Method, one of the most extensively researched approaches to couples therapy. This work allows me to help couples strengthen friendship, improve communication, navigate conflict more effectively, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. In addition, I have completed Advanced Training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence based approach that helps individuals process trauma, grief, anxiety, and other distressing experiences. ART can often help clients experience meaningful relief without requiring them to repeatedly revisit painful memories, allowing healing to occur in a way that feels both effective and empowering. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and embracing the simple moments that help us stay connected. After saying goodbye to our beloved Golden Retriever, Teddy, we have been reminded that love and grief often exist side by side, and that loss has a way of deepening our appreciation for the people and moments we cherish most. Whether we are exploring local restaurants, biking, taking walks, or enjoying Colorado's beautiful mountain scenery, I value the opportunities to slow down and enjoy everyday life together. I believe every relationship has the potential for greater understanding, and every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and move forward with greater confidence. Whether you are working through personal struggles, strengthening your marriage, or facing an important life decision, my hope is to provide the guidance, perspective, and support that help you create lasting, meaningful change.
