Introduction

Hey! I'm Lissette, a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed professional counselor with a background in supporting young adults through life transitions, anxiety, and identity-related concerns. I’m passionate about creating an affirming, inclusive space for all clients, especially those navigating pressures around achievement, burnout, and belonging. I’m particularly interested in working with college students and early-career adults who are figuring out their next steps while learning how to take care of themselves along the way. I approach counseling from a person-centered lens, believing that warmth, authenticity, and humor can be healing tools. I also integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies to help clients challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop skills that align with their goals and values. Sessions with me often involve reflection and a shared curiosity.
