Hi, I’m Liz Banovetz (she/her), LMFT. Therapy can be a meaningful space for reflection, clarity, and change. I work with adults, teens, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and relational stress. Our work often includes making sense of past experiences, recognizing how early patterns shaped your approach to connection, and carving out space to reconnect with your own voice and values. I especially enjoy working with people who are curious about their inner world and motivated to create meaningful change. I believe in the capacity for growth and view therapy as a collaborative process—one that supports resilience, deepens self-trust, and helps you move toward relationships and choices that feel more aligned and intentional. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a steady presence to my work. Clients often describe me as gentle and honest—someone who helps them feel seen while also inviting reflection on the patterns that may no longer serve them. I draw from EMDR, somatic strategies, parts work, mindfulness, and narrative therapy to support healing, self-understanding, and integration. My style is relational, intuitive, and collaborative—you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Outside of sessions, I’m a parent, a jogger, and someone who deeply values creativity, community, and meaningful connection. I also share my office with Tuli, my sweet and intuitive English Setter, who offers a calm, comforting presence to those who want a little extra canine support during therapy. I’m licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, and I’m a Minnesota LMFT Board-Approved Supervisor offering clinical supervision for therapists working toward licensure. I welcome people of all identities and lived experiences. You are the expert on your story—I’m here to walk alongside you.
