I provide support for anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and transitions across the lifespan. I view counseling as an affirming, compassionate partnership. My person-centered approach honors your unique lived experience, cultural context, and stage of readiness. In addition to in-office and telehealth, I offer outdoor therapy sessions and nature-informed therapy, which can be useful for adolescents and for anyone dealing with anxiety, depression and ADHD. Also, I’m currently training in play therapy and able to bring some of the latest innovations into my work with children. I am currently completing my required advanced clinical field internship through Western Michigan University. My clinical counseling services are conducted under the regular, formal supervision of Katie Sternaman, LMSW, and Dr. Jennifer Foster, LPC. I entered the counseling profession late in life, so on top of my education, I have a wealth of life experience and a history of overcoming challenges and processing loss.
