Introduction

I’m Lizzie Davis Holley, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) supervised by Ashley Stafford, LCSW-S, based in Collin County. I help adults (18+) who are seeking support, healing, and greater self-understanding. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, life and faith transitions, grief, religious and spiritual trauma, chronic illness, medical trauma, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to creating a space where clients feel safe showing up fully as themselves. I also bring lived experience navigating disability and chronic medical challenges, which informs my work with clients coping with chronic illness, medical trauma, and adapting to bodies or lives that haven’t unfolded as expected. My approach to therapy is warm, honest, relational, direct, and grounded in curiosity. I believe healing happens in spaces where people feel seen rather than judged. Therapy with me is collaborative. We’ll work together to better understand your patterns, emotions, relationships, and story while building practical tools for growth and resilience. I draw from approaches including CBT, ACT, narrative, and somatic therapy, while always tailoring the process to the individual sitting in front of me.
