Ms. Losier is an owner-operator of her own mental health treatment practice. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Ms. Losier conducts treatment with self-referred individuals and families, as well as provides forensic mental health treatment services and evaluation work to the Westmoreland County child protective service agency, to the county juvenile probation department, to the count adult probation department, to families referred through the county family court and to clients referred by attorneys. With respect to county contracted forensic mental health treatment services, Ms. Losier is responsible for providing treatment services, writing client monthly progress reports, writing client Court summary reports, and is responsible for expert testimony on her cases as needed. Over the past 25+ years, Ms. Losier has worked to develop skills in conducting forensic evaluations, parenting capacity assessment, and risk assessment with individuals who have engaged in contact, non-contact, and Internet/technology facilitated non-contact sexual offense behavior. Ms. Losier is an adjunct instructor at Seton Hill University, Greensburg, PA., teaching a graduate-level course in Ethics and Law for Mental Health Professionals and Interpersonal Processes. Ms. Losier is the Crisis Team Leader for the Westmoreland County EBH/CISM Crisis Intervention Team. Ms. Losier is an approved instructor for the Critical Incident Stress Management Individual and Group Interventions. She is also an ALICE-approved instructor. Ms. Losier is educated in marriage and family therapy and in art therapy. She is licensed as a Marriage and Family therapist. She has specialization in trauma-informed treatment, specialized sexual offender treatment, as well as gender identity and sexual orientation-informed treatment. At this time, Ms. Losier is engaged in doctoral studies at Widener University. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Human Sexuality Program.
