Introduction

I began my career as a Physician Associate in Cardiac Surgery and Neurosurgery, which gave me deep insight into the unique pressures medical professionals face. That background shapes how I work today as a counselor—I understand the intensity, the moral weight, and the toll that healthcare careers can take on individuals and relationships. I work best with articulate, intellectually curious people ready to do depth work and explore what matters most. My approach is direct and supportive and draws on attachment theory (trained at the Ainsworth Attachment Center), psychodynamic, Jungian and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), along with tools like Brainspotting and Motivational Interviewing. I'm particularly skilled at supporting medical professionals, LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples navigating complex dynamics, and the processing of trauma, chronic illness, parenting (Circle of Security), or major life transitions. I'm deeply committed to honoring human diversity and creating space for moral courage and meaning-making. I offer both telehealth and in-person sessions with individuals and couples (adolescent and up), and I'm currently accepting new clients.
