Hi, I’m Lori, and I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges and discover their best selves. I work with adults navigating a wide range of life transitions — from anxiety, depression, and job loss to divorce, midlife shifts, and finding purpose in uncertain times. I also specialize in helping teens and young adults strengthen confidence and manage performance anxiety in sports. My counseling style is genuine, transparent, and collaborative. I utilize a range of evidence-based approaches to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. I often draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) approaches. These tools help us explore patterns, build self-awareness, and work toward meaningful personal growth. I am currently earning supervised clinical hours as I complete my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Arizona State University and have a background in playing and coaching collegiate sports. As a pre-licensed counselor, I work under the supervision of Virginia Kuhn, M.A., LPC, approved by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE).
