Introduction

Hello, and welcome to my practice. I’m Lori Simmons, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I would be honored to work with you to help you achieve your goals. I have been providing therapeutic services for over 20 years and I am licensed in Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida. I offer individual and couples sessions and treat mood and anxiety disorders as well as Phase-of-Life adjustment challenges. My techniques, including ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and The Gottman Method, allow clients to reduce conflicts, improve and deepen connections, and gain satisfaction in their relationships with themselves and others. In addition to video individual and couples sessions, I also offer extended couples sessions to allow for more in-depth exploration and expedited progress. These options can range from an 80 minute session to an intensive weekend package. Weekends may be offered in person and take place in my Maryland office location. Together, we may determine that it would be helpful to have access to coaching and guidance outside of, and in addition to, our set session times. I offer VIP Intensive Care Coaching Packages for extra assistance in this flexible, supportive model using DBT, ACT and EMDR techniques. This on-call support is ideal for the client that needs that extra access to clinical insight throughout the week. Contact me for details! In addition to my work with clients, I am also privileged to be able to offer mentorship to growing clinicians. I offer services that range from guidance in building clinical skills to managing the details of your practice. Please reach out today, and embark on your journey towards the connections you seek!
