I specialize in attachment-focused therapy for women who feel exhausted from working so hard internally — as partners, mothers, professionals, and friends. Many of my clients find themselves constantly scanning for safety, replaying conversations long after they end, or turning self-criticism inward in an effort to keep relationships steady. Often raised by emotionally immature caregivers or within high-control family or religious environments, the women I work with may struggle with anxiety, shame, self-doubt, or a persistent sense of needing to get things “right” to feel secure. Therapy begins wherever you are. Sometimes our work focuses on helping your nervous system feel safe enough to let protective patterns soften. At other times, we gently reach younger parts of you that learned to carry too much alone — using approaches such as Brainspotting, parts work, or creative and experiential methods that allow healing even when words feel insufficient. My training includes psychodynamic and relational therapy, attachment-focused work, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems–informed parts work. As a former School Psychiatric Social Worker and adoptive parent, I bring extensive professional and personal experience supporting mothers navigating how their own attachment histories emerge in the realities of parenting and relationships. I integrate creative, somatic, and art-based approaches when helpful, especially when trauma feels difficult to access through conversation alone. Together, we create an approach that supports greater ease, connection, and self-trust.
