As Founder of Lo Fi Wellness, I set out to challenge the idea of psychiatry as solely a disease of the mind. Just as cardiology specializes in the heart, psychiatry has often been treated as a single, isolated system — but the mind and body are deeply connected, and care should reflect that. I believe mental health care should honor the connection between mind and body. Fluent in several languages, I am able to connect with a wide range of patients, ensuring everyone feels heard and cared for. In our sessions you can expect: -Clear and Honest communication: including diagnoses and treatment options in simple terms. -Cultural Competence: understanding and respecting diverse backgrounds and beliefs. -Personalized Care: Tailoring plans to fit unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all method -Collaboration: Treating recovery and healing as a teamwork process where your input matters. Lastly, I have also worked with Veterans at the VA, specializing in mental health care for homeless Veterans, using trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatments to help them heal.
