Introduction

Healing Place was founded on the belief that people can recover from what happened to them, and that no one should have to do it alone. We are a small, specialized practice. Trauma is the work we do every day, not one service among many. Many of the people we see have carried something in silence for years. So we start with safety. You set the pace. Nothing is forced, nothing is rushed, and nothing you share is treated lightly. For a child, healing may look like play. For a parent, it means being a partner in your child's care instead of waiting outside the door. For an adult, it may mean being heard, for the first time, by someone trained to help. Our team is led by founder Lorraine Guerrero Neumayer, MSW, LCSW, CADC, PEL, who has spent more than 20 years working with survivors of abuse. She is joined by Haydee Martinez Rosales, LPC, a bilingual therapist who works with adults, children and adolescents under Lorraine's clinical supervision. We treat every client's language, culture, and family as part of their strength. Looking for help is a hard step. We'll take the next one with you.
