Introduction

As a trauma-trained clinician specializing in EMDR and IFS, I work with children, teens, and adults healing from trauma, abuse, attachment wounds and emotional overwhelm. If your mind and body feel stuck in survival mode, you may notice anxiety, shutdown, or reactions that feel hard to control. You might experience racing thoughts, emotional reactivity, or disconnection from yourself and others, making it difficult to feel safe or fully present. Together, we process what feels stuck, regulate your emotions and nervous system, and reduce overwhelm, triggers, and dissociation. We build emotional regulation skills and deepen awareness of your inner experiences so you can respond with intention rather than react and feel more grounded and in control in your daily life. For children and adolescents, I integrate play therapy with these approaches. Sessions may include games, sand trays, and creative activities to help younger clients' express emotions, build coping skills, and feel safe and supported. I also work closely with families, offering guidance to strengthen connection, improve communication, and support their child’s emotional and social development. If you’ve been carrying experiences that still feel heavy or overwhelming, therapy can help you begin to release that weight. With EMDR and IFS, we’ll process what’s unresolved and help you feel more grounded and connected to yourself. If this feels like what you need, I invite you to reach out! When I’m not in session, you can usually find me spending time with my dogs, at the gym, or diving into a good book or a new topic that sparks my curiosity.
