Hello! My name is Lucinda, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and Provisional Art Therapist. I graduated from Antioch University with my Master's in May 2026. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by years of creative work with myself and others, as a tattoo artist, art educator, and residential counselor in a foster youth group home. In these spaces I witnessed how art and connection can support healing and self discovery. I bring a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, with respect for each person’s lived experience. My work integrates art therapy, Gestalt, existential, attachment-based, and narrative approaches, along with Internal Family Systems (parts work) and somatic awareness. I believe healing happens within the relationships with ourselves, others, and our environments. I’m passionate about supporting people navigating identity exploration, emotional overwhelm, creative processes, and the impacts of trauma. I am naturally a curious person, and that doesn’t change in my therapist role. Art therapy doesn’t require you to identify as an artist, all it takes is a willingness to be curious and explore creatively. Outside of therapy, I’m usually making something. This includes tattoos, engraving mirrors, or drawing. I also deeply enjoy traveling and spending time in nature. As a creative myself, I understand how important art making can be for understanding yourself and I am excited to facilitate that for you.
