Introduction

Welcome! My name is Dr. Luisa Jimenez-Ruble and I am a bilingual licensed clinical psychologist in North Carolina. I earned my Psy.D. at Eastern Kentucky University and I have over five years of experience working with adults across the age spectrum with a wide range of concerns, diverse backgrounds, and treatment goals. I have extensive experience working with a variety of presenting concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic and progressive medical conditions, emotional regulation difficulties, grief/loss, first-generation issues, and life transitions. My practice is built on a creating a non-judgemental, collaborative, and supportive space. I value using an integrative approach that is rooted in self-discovery, growth, authenticity, and empowerment. I believe in meeting you where you are at, offering flexibility in treatment planning, and equipping you with tools to accomplish your goals with confidence. As a spanish-speaking Latina, I believe that culture is an important aspect of who we are and I strive to take a multicultural approach to my care. I also offer a LGBTQIA+ affirming space. As an integrative provider, I utilize multiple evidence-based approaches approaches to meet your unique goals, including but not limited to cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
