Hi! My name is Lupita and I am a psychotherapy intern at Eclectic Therapy. I’m so happy you’re here! I offer therapy in both English and Spanish to those seeking a safe, supportive, and understanding space. I recognize that reaching out for therapy takes courage—especially when stigma around mental health is a real, scary, lived experience. As someone who has gone through these emotions, I deeply value the strength it takes to begin this journey. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and humanistic, emphasizing empathy, respect, and collaboration. This means I will be your biggest advocate and challenge you to achieve the goals you have in mind for yourself. I believe each person is the expert of their own life, and my role is to help guide and support you in discovering your strengths and potential. I also integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide practical tools for coping with life’s challenges. As a bilingual therapist from a multicultural background, I bring cultural humility and understanding to my work. I know firsthand how identity, culture, and community shape our experiences and healing process. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. I strive to create a trustworthy, nonjudgmental environment, where you can feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. Together, we’ll form a team to work towards meaningful change and empowering you to find healing, growth, and self-compassion. You set the pace—whenever you’re ready, I’m here to support you.
