Introduction

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming when you’re dealing with stress, past experiences, or uncertainty about where to begin. You may feel stuck or unsure how to move forward —and you don’t have to figure it out alone. Supporting people through these moments is at the core of my work. As a bilingual therapist, I provide counseling in both English and Spanish and strive to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and comfortable being yourself. With more than 30 years of experience in behavioral health across public and private settings, I have worked with people facing complex life challenges. Many of the people I work with are navigating past pain, relationship challenges, substance use, or high levels of stress. I also support those working through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and difficulties managing emotions. My approach to therapy is tailored to your needs and focuses on what will be most helpful and effective for you. Together, we work on building practical skills, increasing self-awareness, and creating steady, meaningful progress. My style is warm, steady, and supportive. At the same time, I will help you stay focused and engaged in the work so that real change can happen. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being your true self without fear of judgment. Therapy can be challenging at times, but it can also be a space for growth, healing, and moving forward in a more intentional way. I cannot do the work for you, but I will walk alongside you as we build on your strengths, work through past experiences, and challenge patterns or beliefs that may be holding you back. I look forward to supporting you as you move toward a more stable and meaningful future.
