With over 20 years of clinical experience in many clinical settings including hospital, nursing home, emergency room, home care, hospice, private practice, and disability. I am dedicated to supporting individuals through life's challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. My specialties include Traumatic Brain Injury, Stress and Burnout, Cultural Issues, Religious Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Secondary Traumas, and various stages of life. I believe in a culturally inclusive, measured approach that values the unique experiences of each person. My interventions combine kindness, guidance, and understanding within a comfortable, supportive setting—whether virtually or in person—to help you grow, heal, and achieve optimal mental health wellness. Together, we will work toward your goals in a safe space that fosters growth and resilience. History The founding of our counseling agency is deeply rooted in my family and my son's strength following his traumatic brain injury (TBI). After he suffered a traumatic brain injury, our family navigated a journey of immense hardship and uncertainty. The experience revealed a gap in the accessible emotional support for both TBI survivors and their loved ones. In honoring my son's and my family resilience, I founded this agency to transform our struggle into a resource for others. This agency was built to offer specialized counseling to TBI survivors and their families. We aim to provide the compassionate counseling and guidance that we so desperately needed, ensuring that no family has to face the isolating challenges of a brain injury alone. Through our services, I honor my family and my son’s courage by empowering others to find hope, navigate their new reality, and rebuild their lives with dignity and expert guidance. Another specialized area of my practice is supporting first responders and those work as first line worker and who experience secondary or vicarious trauma. This work is deeply meaningful to me on both a personal and professional level. In my professional journey, I’ve had the honor of working in many settings where I encountered first responders and first line worker in the community and throughout my son’s recovery, my family encountered them in a different role. Through those experiences and my clinical skill, I gained a profound appreciation for the emotional challenges they face in their daily work. Other areas of serve includes cultural and religious traumas, anxiety, depression, caregiver burnout, acculturation, parenting, work stress, life transitions, geriatric counseling and much more.
