Introduction

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 12 years of clinical experience in inpatient psychiatric, outpatient therapy, substance use treatment, and community mental health settings. I have also worked in the child welfare system for over 14 yrs and highly skilled in case management, child placement, community engagement, family meetings coordination and facilitation, cultural competence, advocacy, and fostering safe environments for children and adults. My approach is trauma-informed, family-centered, strength-based, solution focused therapeutic approach. I work closely with children and caregivers navigating emotional, behavioral, or relational struggles—including those stemming from trauma, foster care, adoption, abuse/neglect, grief, major life transitions related to sexuality. Whether you’re a parent feeling overwhelmed, a teen facing anxiety or depression, or a family in crisis, my goal is to create a space where healing and connection can begin. I offer practical, culturally sensitive, evidence-based support, including interventions grounded in CBT, and crisis stabilization. I offer crisis management and intervention services for clients facing acute emotional distress, family and relationship conflict, or traumatic events. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, solution focused and culturally responsive, aimed at restoring safety, connection, and resilience in both individuals and families. Taking that first step toward support can be hard—but it can also be the beginning of meaningful change, we all had to start somewhere. You are not alone. When you’re ready, I’m here to help. Safe conversations result to safe outcomes. "I am because we are"-The essence of Ubuntu.
